AI governance review
Know what AI is doing in your business.
And who answers for it.
A focused review for owners and leadership teams. We find the AI already in use, including the tools people adopted quietly, decide what each may touch, name an owner for every AI-influenced decision, and write down the rules in a policy people will actually follow.
Why leaders ask for it
Four questions a board, a client or an insurer
will eventually ask.
Where is AI being used?
Most leaders can name the tools they approved. Few can name the ones their people use anyway. The review starts with an honest inventory, with no blame attached.
What data can it see?
Customer details, contracts, financials and employee information each need a rule. We sort your data into what AI may never see, what needs approval first, and what is fine.
Who owns the decision?
When AI shapes a hire, a price, a claim or a client message, one person must be able to explain it. We name that person for each decision that matters.
What can you show?
Rules in writing, a record of how AI-assisted work is checked, and a way to report problems. That is what “we govern our AI” looks like when someone asks for proof.
How it works
Four steps, led with your leadership team.
A short call
We agree on what you want from the review, who needs to be in the room, and what is off limits. Scope and fee are put in writing before anything starts.
Find the AI
A working session with leaders and a few people who really use AI day to day. We list the tools, what they are used for and what data goes into them.
Decide the rules
Together we sort tasks into what AI may read, draft, change or send, name owners for the decisions that matter, and note the risks worth fixing first.
Write it down
You receive the findings and a plain-language policy. We walk through them together so your leaders can explain every rule in their own words.
What you receive
- An inventory of AI in use and the data it touches
- A short list of risks, ranked by what to fix first
- A decision map: who owns each AI-influenced decision
- A plain-language AI use policy, ready to adopt
- A practical action plan for the next ninety days
What it is not
- Not legal advice or a compliance certification
- Not a technical security audit of your network
- Not a push to buy a tool or a digital worker
- Not a ban on AI. The aim is to use it with confidence
Need the technical side? The security page covers running AI on your own computer behind your firewall. Curious what the written rules look like? Read the sample AI use policy.
