Compliance
Compliance & AI disclosure
I teach governance first, so this site follows the same rules. Here is plainly how AI is used here, what happens to your information, and who is accountable.
Overview
AI disclosure
The inbox at alexiso@routhier.org is handled by Alexis Oppenheimer, an AI digital worker. She reads and sorts incoming mail and drafts replies. She is not a person, and this site does not present her as one.
Human accountability
Nothing is sent on my behalf until I have reviewed and approved it. She may read, research and draft on her own. Anything that changes something, or leaves the building, needs my approval first. I am responsible for everything sent under my name.
How her work is controlled
Her permissions are written down in advance and enforced by the software, not left to her judgment. She runs on my own computer, and every action is recorded in a log I can review.
Your information
When you email us, we receive your address and your message, which Alexis reads before I do. We use it only to reply to you and, if you ask, to send the weekly brief. We do not sell personal data. You can ask to see, correct or delete it at any time by emailing alexiso@routhier.org. See the Privacy Policy.
Email and unsubscribe
Anything sent to a list includes a way to opt out, and opt-out requests are honored. Replying “unsubscribe” to any message is enough.
Not professional advice
Content here is general information about AI and governance. It is not legal, financial, tax or investment advice, and it creates no client relationship until we sign a written agreement. See the Terms of Service.
Advocacy
My work with the National Small Business Association on AI legislation is policy advocacy on behalf of small business. Views on this site are my own unless a statement says it comes from the NSBA.
Accessibility
The site is built with semantic headings, descriptive image text, keyboard-friendly navigation and readable contrast. If anything is hard to use, email alexiso@routhier.org and we will fix it.
Responsible AI use
AI output can be wrong. Alexis’s drafts are checked by a person, and the facts in her reports carry their sources so they can be verified.
